Unity Level 1 Programming (S211E1) or equivalent
Objectives: Upon completition of this course the
student will have the skills to:
- Configure the Advantys distributed I/O to communicate with the PLC
using one or more of the following protocols: Modbus Plus, Ethernet,
Fipio, or Interbus
- Assemble and Install and Island of I/O and verify successful
communications
- Create simple programs to control Advantys distributed I/O
- Recognize error codes and visual symptoms for troubleshooting
- Create an Advantys automation island to include a CanOpen solution
with an Altivar® Drive
- Integrate Derived Function Blocks as a control strategy for the
operation of an Altivar drive
- Integrate the TeSys™ motor starters using the TeSys Model U
Interface STB EPI 2145
